Humanitarian Aid

Lead by the Irwin family, Australia Zoo is paving the way in conservation around the world. But our efforts don't stop there. Our ongoing commitment to making a difference across the entire planet extends beyond wildlife and its habitat, to humans, whose charge it is to protect earth’s precious environment forever.

Through-out their lifetime, striving to protect animals, Steve and Terri discovered that severe destruction of wildlife and their habitat often occurs in places where human suffering is so intense, that there can be no possibility of compassion for other species.

Australia Zoo's dedication to helping people from around the world runs parallel to our mission of conservation through education.

The Irwin family and Australia Zoo are dedicated to granting the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses. Since 1994, we have worked closely with charity organisations such as the Make-a-Wish and the Starlight Foundation to brighten the lives of these special children and their entire families.
